How We Evaluate CBD Products
First-party user scores
Only scores submitted directly on CBD Diff count. Third-party website ratings and legacy random scores are not imported.
Moderation before publication
New reviews await moderation. Only published reviews count; moderators can publish or reject, but cannot rewrite a user’s score.
An arithmetic mean
Each published score has equal weight. The mean is rounded only for display. A score of 0 is valid; no reviews means no average.
Review counts and ordering
Products with reviews precede those without. Higher means rank first; ties use review count, then a stable product identifier.
Separate buying guidance
Read product labels, ingredients, prices and third-party lab reports before buying. These details and our editorial guidance do not set the user rating.
Anonymous participation
One active review is allowed per product and browser identity. This does not guarantee one human per vote or verify a purchase.
